John Lass formed Lass Advisory Services LLC in October 2014 following a ten-year term as SVP of Strategy and Business Development for CUNA Mutual Group (CMG) based in Madison, Wisconsin.  CMG is a $3 billion financial services firm serving credit unions and credit union members worldwide with a variety of insurance and asset management products and services.  During his tenure at CMG John also worked directly with leading credit unions across the U.S., Canada, England, Ireland and the Caribbean

 

Earlier John had served as the head of the strategy wing of Hagberg Consulting Group, which was sold to Accenture in 2005.  HCG served corporate clients worldwide, but had a special focus on serving technology firms in Silicon Valley.  John continues to collaborate with Rich Hagberg, founder of HCG, in the development of proprietary assessment tools such as the Capacity to Scale survey.
